Lovely Cierra…with her porcelain face, wavy hair, gorgeous eyes and lips…and fabulously adorable personality! I could have hung out with her and her mother for many, many hours…they are THAT cool. Luckily for them, it got dark, so we had to call it quits :)

pressure
August 9, 2012Not gonna lie, it’s always a bit of pressure when photographing other photographers. It’s even more pressure when you know they drove five hours to have you photograph them. But, then you get over it and realize how excited and grateful you are to photograph such beautiful and ahhhhhhsome people. November 16, 2011I know…you want to squeeze her, hate her for her beauty, sign her up for America’s Next Top Model, and elect her for president of the Hot Club all at the same time. This is my Hayley. Yep, MY Hayley. I’ve known her since a week after I moved to Michigan four and half years ago. And now, she is all grown up and a high school senior.
The truth is, there is more happiness, kindness, wisdom, and funness (I’m going to stop apologizing for my made up words) than I have ever seen in a girl this age. She is beyond special and has a beautiful soul to match her beautiful face.
I have photographed her before (here and here) and I have mushed about her just as much. I love you Hayley! Happy Senior Year!!!

my love of anthropologie
April 28, 2010I find inspiration from many different sources…namely magazine ads, other photographers, daily life…
…but then there is Anthropologie. I love the look of Anthropologie. No, I don’t think you understand. I get crazy giddy when I get their catalog comes in the mail. When I have more than two seconds of spare time in my life, I am going to show up on their doorstep, and beg them to let me be their photographer. They shall agree I am a perfect fit and we will all live happily ever after. We all know that’s how it happens in the real world, so I’ll keep you updated on that.
Until then, I am working on a series (Anthropologie inspired) for a project I hope to be submitting images to very soon. I am so in love with her style and look…isn’t she JUST beautiful…
