Not gonna lie, it’s always a bit of pressure when photographing other photographers. It’s even more pressure when you know they drove five hours to have you photograph them. But, then you get over it and realize how excited and grateful you are to photograph such beautiful and ahhhhhhsome people. Speaking of LOVING it, I absolutely adore this family and their entire session. I have photographed them several times and I kind of can’t get enough of these twinnies and their amazing mom and dad. I know one person can be photogenic, but is it possible for an entire family to be photogenic??

January 27, 2011One day…long, long ago…in a Michigan where it was warm and green…I photographed my friend, Laurel, and her wee one. Fast forward to now when I am barely getting around to her images.
Thanks goodness for friends with patience. Thank goodness for photographer friends who understand the “busy” season. Thank goodness for these two who have an amazing connection and look so beautiful in front of the camera.
And thank GOODNESS for this friend who inspires me, humors me, supports me, laughs so hard with me until our stomachs hurt, and makes me feel guilty when I don’t exercise.

May 24, 2010Once upon a time I had a contest. and Emily (the mother of the two following adorable boys), totally rocked with referrals and she won herself a free session! We met up last week and she was sweeter and even more fun that I had even imagined she would be. The boys worked the camera and played hard. We had a wonderful session and I was honored to finally meet them! The end!
