July 29, 2010I am alive and kicking…contrary to what my quiet blog may lead you to believe. I have been in and out of town for the last three weeks and have now sufficiently been blessed with lots of rest and relaxation, my wonderful family, and amazing friends.
Back in the real world, I am a bit behind. So I shall be having a blog posting frenzy over the next little while. First up is an amazing, wonderful, beautiful family that I have had the pleasure of photographing many times over the last three years. Their summery images just make me smile.

I get to be the person who captures new love. You know the kind…pre-marriage, butterflies in stomach, anxious for the future.
But I also get to be the person who captures after love. The post-marriage love that has seen kids, experiences, heartache, and happiness. And it is beautiful. I am so thrilled to have spent time with these two. Just an evening of celebrating them…and their love.
This is yet another session that reminded me to stop and celebrate my own love. You betcha that I have up and coming plans for a session of just my hubby and I. Can’t wait!

July 13, 2010I’m heading out for a week of a little R and R. I will return all emails and voicemails when I return next week. Enjoy my two newest little friends. Sweetest little twin boys you’ve ever met…straight up from Brazil. Who needs the English language to communicate when we have humor?!?!

July 9, 2010What have I been up to lately? Sickness running rampant through my family (over and done now), birthday parties (Happy 8th birthday to my little one), and lots and lots of pictures. Pictures always say it best, so I’ll leave it to them to show these families from four recent shoots.

July 1, 2010Sigh…I had SUCH a wonderful time in San Francisco with my family…it is a rare moment when we are all in the same place. My brother’s wedding was beautiful and I’m so excited to welcome Keli into our family! The downside? I seem to be swimming drowning in work I left behind. I’ll be coming up for air soon with more pictures…
