all right…i am officially DONE with my may daily posts! today marks the end of the daily posts, but just the beginning for urban mini session mania! all mini sessions are taking place today (cross your fingers for no or very little rain) and tomorrow all day! check back next week for a huge sneak peek into the sessions…

i am signing out and leaving you with a little urban “sass” to get you in the mood. this is my friend, laurel’s little girl and i am loving that feisty attitude!!!

attention all blog obsessed people (or anyone who likes to look at blogs now and then). if you don’t know about google reader, then i am about to make your day!

i mentioned it on my family blog a while back assuming everyone already knew about google reader. i got an email or comment from about everyone i know saying they either hadn’t heard of it, how do they get it, or they just signed up and love it!

in a nutshell, google reader is a free service that allows you to put in all of your favorite blogs and it lets you know when any of them have put up a new post (so you don’t have to keep checking individual blogs to see if there is an update).

anyway, just thought i would pass along a bit of useful blogging information.

last, i am sharing some sweet tininess that just makes me smile.

all right, my daily posts are winding down….which means there are just a few more days until the end of the month…AND…my urban sessions this weekend.

all emails have been sent out with the final details of the sessions. don’t hesitate to call or email me with any last minute questions! i have ONE LAST remaining time slot…6:00 pm in ann arbor…please call or email if you are interested. thanks!

last, but not least, here are a few pictures from a senior session from last week. he lives on a lake, which, of course, was incredibly beautiful…the location fit his personality perfectly.

whew! we’re back from a fabulous weekend of dirt, sand, and a lot of junk food. yep, you guessed it, we went camping.

this was our first experience camping in michigan and being “up north.” WOW…i had no idea that lake michigan was like being at the beach…white sand, waves, shells…it was beautiful! we had so much fun and have a lot of pictures to show for it. but, seeing how i am WAY behind on work, those pictures will have to wait a bit. here’s one for now…until tomorrow…

OOPS. i missed a day. when i made the commitment to post every day for the rest of the month of may, i failed to realize at the time that i would be out of town over memorial day weekend. soooo, my blog is going to have a little break over the weekend…i’ll be back early next week! have a wonderful weekend!

i leave you with this sweet little newborn. no words are needed…she is perfection…don’t you think?

spring and summer are upon us…which means that everyone is coming out of winter hibernation and are in need of pictures!

due to that, my weekends are currently booked until the beginning of september…THANK YOU to all of my current and new clients! i do have limited availability left on the weekdays. so, if you are interested in a summer session, please contact me as soon as possible. also, if you are interested in a fall session, i suggest booking early to secure a date of your choice! and, of course, i always leave extra squish room for those newborn sessions!

you know i can’t post without a picture. i was driving to a recent session and drove past this lovely little scene. having severe spring fever, i jumped out and snapped a picture. it is simply a “happy” picture to me. makes me think of sound of music (although i have only seen bits and pieces, so i may be way off). anyway, until tomorrow…

congrats to will and erin on their beautiful wedding on saturday…

we battled wind…

we battled rain…

we even battled keys getting locked in the car (that is a whole other story)…but these two are blissfully in love and nothing could stop them from having an incredible day and wedding!

these are the beautiful faces of down syndrome.

these are the faces that smiled so big it warmed me from the inside out. these faces are the reason that i am a photographer…to capture real human emotion. emotion that is so innocent and pure, i wanted to hug each and every one of them (and i did get some fabulous hugs).

i feel lucky and blessed to be involved with the down syndrome support group for a calendar project. i was only a part of these kids lives for a short while, but it was enough to melt my little heart.
