yep, pretty much died when i walked in and saw this little one. her hair…and her eyes…and her sweet face…and her beautiful family…loved this session.

i really promised myself that i wouldn’t bombard my blog with pictures from las vegas…but…i can’t help it…as you can see from my last post, we had a really good time and i want to share! for any new visitors, i just got back from a huge photography convention in las vegas and had a fabulous time.
we were so busy with classes and the tradeshow, but kellee, heather, and i managed to slip out and explore the strip with our cameras in hand. last time i was in vegas, i didn’t even have a camera…it’s amazing what that place is like when you are looking at it through a lens…so much color, light, and VERY interesting people.
ok, here’s the best part. apparently, 3 girls + 3 cameras + 2 in the morning = a lot of “happy” people who want their picture taken. it started out with our boy in dreads posing for a few pictures. well, in no time at all, we had a huge crowd gathered around dancing and singing…it was great! yep, that’s heather…doing some kind of slap-happy dance with our new 75 year old friend who could dance like no otha!
whew! super long post…thanks for sticking with me! usually i am a girl short on words. i know there is a mommy and grandmother who is excited to see their sneak peek of their two beautiful kiddies. here you go…enjoy!
i am back in town and swimming through all of my “to dos.” my photography convention in las vegas was absolutely FABULOUS and i am so excited to share some images! i haven’t had time to upload them yet, but i do have one to share. more will follow.

on to my beautiful senior from my session today. man, the girl couldn’t take a bad picture…made my job easy! she is leaving town for warmth and sunshine, and i promised her a sneak peek before she left. oh…and those little white specks you see? yep…snow…yuck…so much for hopes of a warm spring break in michigan.
*tiny announcement* i am leaving out of town for a photography conference in las vegas. i will learn and learn and learn (and have a little fun)…i am so excited! i will answer all emails and calls when i return later next week.
wow…i love my hobby (er, job) so much i can hardly stand it. how lucky am i to sit back and watch and capture a fabulous relationship between two best friends…or play and chase a beautiful, little one year old boy???

had a fabulous weekend…a good friend came into town and we just hung out, talked, ate, talked, and ate some more. so, although there were no sessions going on amongst this funfest, it is due time i post some favorites from some recent sessions that never quite made it to the blog.
