i love shooting outdoors no matter the weather, but the shootees have to be willing. well, this family was willing AND we had a blast! little andrew was pulling out his best smiles for me…but as you can see by the last picture…little ones call the shots and decide when it is just too cold to go on. it was so fun seeing you again!

let’s start with the tiniest of the three. she was so perfect and beautiful, but her mother had warned me she was feisty and/or sassy. she did get mad at me for disturbing her peace a couple of times throughout the session, but we pulled through with some great shots. we giggled as i took this first shot…she was even a “mad sleeper.”
this cutie was so much fun. the second he saw me, he announced “i’m shy of you” and turned on his heel and walked the other way. hmmm…i needed a serious game plan. after a few minutes of comparing facts about maps and yellow school buses, it seems he wanted to hang out and we became pretty good friends. enjoy your sneak peak!

i am back from my holiday vacation and excited for the new year! i have so many great pictures to share from over the holidays, but i thought it would be appropriate to first give my blog a facelift and start the year off with a contest.
this contest is a tribute to a wonderful 2007. i have chosen some of my favorite images from 2007…now let me tell you…this was not an easy task. so many wonderful people, so many great moments. but, these images stick out to me for one special reason or another.
