Luukiko…that would be Luu and Mikiko…is easily one of the coolest and most photogenic couples I have ever photographed. These two modeled for me during my shooting demonstration at the Chic Retreat in Seattle, and quite frankly, ROCKED it.

May 30, 2013For a few days after our workshops, I feel like I have been hit with a small truck. But, now that the sleep deprivation, nerves, and stress are gone, I am left only with the amazing memories of two days with SUCH a cool group of people. I am also left with the wonderful truth that we are SO blessed and grateful to share with and teach others what we love doing most. So much thanks to the crazy awesome attendees and all of the people working behind the scenes!

More sunshine, more warmth, and of course, more people in love while laying in leaves. October 26, 2012Do we shoot? Do we not shoot? The weather forecast stinks! Let’s just do it. Let’s not do it.
That was us on the phone 30 minutes before we were supposed to shoot.
I was in Chicago for the weekend and we had only one day to make it happen. We decided to just go for it and Someone must have been looking out for us as the rain held out for most of the shoot :)
I had so much fun with these two and am crazy excited to photograph their wedding next year in Chicago!

September 18, 2012Ross and Jess told me they weren’t photogenic. Uh huh. Whatever.
Had so much fun with them in Ann Arbor, and I’m guessing they MIGHT like University of Michigan just a bit. Go Blue!
We headed to U of M campus for a bit. Love the rowing club in the background watching Ross and Jess in the first one :)
