Luukiko…that would be Luu and Mikiko…is easily one of the coolest and most photogenic couples I have ever photographed. These two modeled for me during my shooting demonstration at the Chic Retreat in Seattle, and quite frankly, ROCKED it.

For a few days after our workshops, I feel like I have been hit with a small truck. But, now that the sleep deprivation, nerves, and stress are gone, I am left only with the amazing memories of two days with SUCH a cool group of people. I am also left with the wonderful truth that we are SO blessed and grateful to share with and teach others what we love doing most. So much thanks to the crazy awesome attendees and all of the people working behind the scenes!

Annnnnnd, some awesomeness from Travis…
Are. You. Kidding. Me.
I already love these two, and I’ve only known them for two hours.
Good thing we have an entire wedding day together this fall :)
Speaking of the amazing weather mentioned in yesterday’s post, here is another product of that same, fabulous day. More sunshine, more warmth, and of course, more people in love while laying in leaves. I can’t help it, I love the leaves, and it only comes one time of year, so just let me overuse it for a few weeks :)
Introducing, Kevin and Laura! Super excited to photograph their wedding next year!!
Not gonna lie, I have several favorites from their shoot. I ADORE the next two, especially when put together…
Oh yes, another fave…
Oops, another fave…
Do we shoot? Do we not shoot? The weather forecast stinks! Let’s just do it. Let’s not do it.
That was us on the phone 30 minutes before we were supposed to shoot.
I was in Chicago for the weekend and we had only one day to make it happen. We decided to just go for it and Someone must have been looking out for us as the rain held out for most of the shoot :)
I had so much fun with these two and am crazy excited to photograph their wedding next year in Chicago!
Quick switch of locations, annnnnnnd, it started to rain. And rain it did. Like, torrential downpour rain. Thanks to my friends, Kristin Wilkerson and Bachi Frost, for the inspiration for the two shots below.
Ross and Jess told me they weren’t photogenic. Uh huh. Whatever.
