Location choice for a session is always a big deal. It must describe you or your family as well as look good on your walls (where hopefully your images will end up). I absolutely LOVED this client, who is always thinking outside the box, when she said she told me her location choice. Great shooting spots and somewhere her family loves and can just have fun. That’s right…we were at the zoo.  I’ve never photographed anyone there before and it was super fun!  Loved the challenge of working around the masses, using random locations, and avoiding any images of them posing with a rhino in the background!

Words are not forming properly in my brain in these wee hours of the morning. So, I’ll keep it brief with this family that MAY just be the most photographed family out of all my clients. Them. Amazing. Me. Adoring them completely. Freaking awesome family. I’m out.

I hate to play favorites….but….I can’t help it. The winner of my recent contest for a free session is a client who is sweet, witty, beautiful, and has spread my name like wildfire. And for that, I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I have photographed them three other times, but this was the first time meeting adorable baby brother. Wow, I love my job. Playing with these girls was ridiculously fun. I sooooo loved it when mom suggested we head out back for a little swim!!!

I am alive and kicking…contrary to what my quiet blog may lead you to believe.  I have been in and out of town for the last three weeks and have now sufficiently been blessed with lots of rest and relaxation, my wonderful family, and amazing friends.

Back in the real world, I am a bit behind.  So I shall be having a blog posting frenzy over the next little while.  First up is an amazing, wonderful, beautiful family that I have had the pleasure of photographing many times over the last three years.  Their summery images just make me smile.
